Selective Pre-Emergence Weed Control
PRETILACHLOR 37% EW is a selective pre-emergence herbicide recommended for the control of grasses, sedges, and some broad leaf weeds in transplanted rice. It contains 37% of the active ingredient pretilachlor which is equal to 400 g per litre of the formulation.

Application Method
Apply as pre-emergence spray between 0–5 days after transplanting using a knapsack sprayer fitted with flat fan nozzle. Avoid flooding the field up to 24 hours after application.

When used as per the recommendations, Pretilachlor 37% EW provides pre-emergence control of grasses, sedges and some broad leaf weeds in transplanted rice.
Anti-Resistance Protocol

- Do not use cooking utensils for preparing the spray solution. Use a stick for stirring.
- Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and clothing. Avoid inhalation of fog and vapors.
- Wear hand gloves, protective clothing, mask, goggles, and boots while handling.
- Do not eat, drink, or smoke while applying the product.
- Wash hands with soap and plenty of water and change clothes after the work is over.
- Avoid contamination of air and water bodies. Wash contaminated clothes.
- May cause irritation to eyes, skin, and respiratory tract on prolonged exposure.
- Move the affected person to fresh air immediately if inhaled.
- In case of skin contact, wash thoroughly with soap and water.
- If in eyes, rinse cautiously with water for several minutes.
- Seek medical attention if irritation persists.
- No specific antidote is known. Treatment should be symptomatic and supportive.
- In case of accidental ingestion, do not induce vomiting. Consult a physician immediately.
- Carry the product label or container when seeking medical help.
